the show i went to (pictured left) was genuinely the greatest live show ive ever been to in my life. we were in a parking lot with NO seperation between us and the band. they rock so hard. THE DRUMMER CROWDSURFS. WITH HIS DRUMS. WHILE DRUMMING. i got to hold a cymbal :D and then during the last song they set their instruments on fire, handed them out to the crowd, and fucked off to man the merch table while WE THE CROWD jammed on their instruments. WE ended the show it was incredible. i got to slam on a flaming cymbal while the drummer poured lighter fluid on it. best show Ever! check them out at DAIKAIJU.ORG

70s experimental french prog rock concept album my friend and i found in a record store years ago (i think that was the same day we found bodice ripper by loyal divide (which i also enjoyed) oh and there was some other album called like "music for dreaming and playing" or something?? it was 2 different musicians on either side and the dreaming/playing each referred to a specific side i think the playing side was chiptune-y? i looked up the label and they had a ton of these it was like a series but i cant remember what it was called -_- if i remember when im downstairs ill check my records) anyway christelle is really cool and weird

honestly if youre on this site you already watch this. one of my top 3 shows

another of my top 3 shows holy shit i love this show. its about some guys who have access to a secret ai system that surveils everyone and predicts violent crimes. its like a crime procedural but 100% better because theyre not solving the crimes before they happen. and because their info is limited, they dont know if a person is the victim or the perpetrator so theres a minor mystery element. BUT it leaps off from there to tell cool serial stories and the later seasons become cool scifi about how fucked our modern surveillance state and i have to stress that this iS NOT A COP SHOW. THE COPS ARE EXPLICITLY THE BAD GUYS. there is exactly one (1) Good Cop in the show and everyone else tells her she's naive for believing in the police system. also yes the show is about AI but its from 2011 back when AI actually was cool and meant something not the dumb shit from now.

completing the trifecta of the my favorite shows its ON CINEMA. this show is like what if siskel and ebert was actually a hilarious soap opera about the 2 most pathetic people in the world. 6 out of 5

what if the count of monte cristo was actually a vampire from space and instead of 1800s france it was set 3000 years in the future but its still 1800s france so instead of ships they have spaceships and instead of horses they have robot horses. as someone who doesnt really like anime, this is an incredible anime. probably because it was written by a french guy in the 1800s instead of by the people who write anime. ok thats not fair it actually diverges from the book in a big way by making albert the POV character instead of the titular count. AND THE ANIMATION oh its beautiful. super creative inventive style. never seen anything like it.
